The PCD said the measure of small particulate matter of up to 10 microns in diameter (PM10) in Tak’s Mae Sot District and Lampang’s Mae Moh was 144 micrograms and 121 micrograms respectively. The safe limit is 120 micrograms.

For the other seven Northern provinces, the PM10 level was still within the safe limit, but in some places such as Lampang’s Muang District, the level was approaching 120 micrograms.
