The event which was held in Raja Musa Forest Reserve was jointly organised by GEC, Selangor State Government, Selangor Forestry Department and Kuala Selangor District Council. Graced by YB Elizabeth Wong, the Selangor State Exco for Environment and Tourism, it was attended by volunteers from the nearby Klang Valley and surrounding townships.

Supporters of this rehabilitation programme included the European Union, Bridgestone Tyre Sales Malaysia Sdn Bhd, HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad, Sai Care and Ecowarriors. The tree species chosen for this activity were Mahang (Macaranga triloba) and Tenggek Burung (Euodia roxburghiana) for their hardiness and suitability in rehabilitating a disturbed area.
