This workshop will focus on techniques for monitoring hydrology and dissolved and particulate concentrations of carbon and other elements in stream catchments in carbon-rich landscapes and estimating aqueous carbon losses from these landscapes. The workshop includes presentations on background theory and methods of measurement, demonstrations of some of the most up-to-date technology for monitoring streams and analysis of water samples, workshop sessions on analysing data set.
Aim of the Workshop
This workshop will outline and demonstrate the benefits of continuous monitoring of water quality parameters to assess fluxes of carbon in streams draining carbon-rich catchments. |
